Suitable for 5 yrs to 95 yrs, no physical fitness required

Available 5 days a week from from 3pm to 4.30pm - October to April. Weather Dependent.
Full Bee Suit & Gloves Provided
A sweet introduction into the wonderful world of Bees & Bee Keeping. Put on your Bee Suit, slip on your gloves. Join an experienced local Bee Keeper to open and work an active Hive. Hold a frame covered in 100's of busy bees. Discover the inner workings of these amazing colonies, and their importance to our global food chain.
Be-a-Beekeeper Tour
1. BE-A-BEEKEEPER
There is no set time for this tour. It must be arranged by contacting us - call Nick or Resh to discuss options.
If we have bookings already accepted for our 3pm Combo Tour, we typically won't run an additional Beekeeping tour on the same day.
However you could join the Combo Tour and just participate in just the first half of this experience, where we go beekeeping. (approx 45 minutes). Cost $50pp.
October to April - weather dependent. Runs with minimum 2 persons.
Be-a-Bee Keeper Tour
Booked on demand only. This is not a scheduled tour.
Cost : Adults: $79 / Child (under 15) $59. If only two persons, minimum charge is two adults, $188 (ie. same as two adults)
Private Tour : Per person prices as above + $150 surcharge.
Duration : 60 Minutes
We Provide : Bee Suits & Gloves
You Bring : Sturdy closed toe footwear and socks. Cooler days > long pants and a long sleeved top recommended. Hot days > shorts and t-shirt. You are welcome to bring your Mobile Phone or Camera.
This tour can be run for private bookings or groups, if space is available in amongst our regular daily tour schedule., During Summer our Combo Honey Spinning & Beekeeping Tour dominates bookings (3pm to 4.30pm)
