Full Bee Suit & Gloves Provided
A sweet introduction into the wonderful world of Bees & Bee Keeping. Put on your Bee Suit, slip on your gloves. Join an experienced local Bee Keeper to open and work an active Hive. Hold a frame covered in 100's of busy bees. Discover the inner workings of these amazing colonies, and their importance to our global food chain.

A shorter, affordable, photo-friendly version of our Combo Tour — perfect for those wanting a hands-on experience and that epic hero shot holding a frame full of bees.

Tour Details
Part 1 – Meet the Bees (30–35 minutes)
Suit up in a full-length bee suit & gloves and join your beekeeper at the hive. You’ll help open a live, active beehive and hold frames covered in bees.
We’ll happily take photos for you using your phone or camera.
Part 2 – Manuka Honey History & Tasting (15–20 minutes)
Head back inside, remove your suit, and enjoy a seated tasting session.
Learn the story of Manuka Honey in New Zealand and understand the UMF vs MGO rating systems.
Taste a range of premium Manuka honeys: UMF 2+, 10+, 15+ & 20+.
This tour can be run for private bookings or groups, if space is available in amongst our regular daily tour schedule.,
